The true testing grounds on my theories on recovery were during the 2007 Paris Brest Paris a ride that is done in france for over one hundred years covering over 760 miles only stopping for food a few hours sleep. It was cold rainy and one person died and 1000 people dropped out. I would not have finished with out the help of my friends Dave and Justin

Not a pretty picture but what do you expect after 760 miles and 3 hours of sleep!

I started working with Team Loyd Irvin a number of years ago. I already had a great deal of experience with fighters from my backround in boxing, so I was able to help them with any injuries. I have to say they are some of the nicest atheletes that I have ever worked with. I find that funny because they can basically take me out in a 1 o logoloyd.gifr 2 seconds! Master Loyd Irvin's journey of the martial arts began at the age of 3. Master Lloyd was the first African American in the World to receive a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Master Lloyd is one of only three Non-Brazilians to ever receive a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt in Brasil. In 1999, Master Lloyd Irvin became the first American to ever defeat a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt in Brasil. What makes this even more amazing was that Master Lloyd just received his brown belt 3 days prior. After this amazing victory Master Lloyd had a feature story written about him the World Famous Gracie Magazine in Brasil.

I have also worked with Brandon Vera , another great guy who has been fighting in MMA since 2002.I have been working with boxers since very early on in my career when I became the team doctor and cutman for Keystone boxing and since then I think I have worked with almost every fighter out the Washington D.C. area and we have some great ones. This was a great introduction to sports chiropractic.
